Revenue systems · since 1997
John Serrantino
I have worked inside CRM for twenty nine years, starting with data entry at thirteen. I have sold it, built it, run it and founded companies on it. Now I clean up the revenue systems other people inherited, as the founder of Kesey.

Four numbers from the road so far.
Who is John Serrantino
A CRM lifer who ended up with the mop.
I am John Serrantino, a revenue systems operator and the founder of Kesey. My whole career has been one problem at different scales: the gap between what a company thinks its CRM says and what is actually happening.
I started as the kid typing records into AccessCRM, helped architect a homegrown CRM that more than a hundred and fifty people ran on, closed the largest deal in PipelineCRM's history, and spent six years at HubSpot learning what a finished product looks like at scale.
My title at Kesey is Janitor. It is not glamorous and it is the honest one. The strategy is rarely the problem. Somebody has to sort out years of decisions nobody wrote down before anything clever is worth doing.
The pipeline is a guess. Follow up depends on one person remembering. Nobody believes the numbers. You do not need another platform. You need somebody to wire the ones you already own.

Tell me about your mess.
Most of what I do starts with a half hour conversation about a CRM nobody trusts. No pitch on the call unless you ask for one.
